I was going through my friend's blogs and I saw that one of them had used a website to construct a few different textures called mrdoob.com - It seemed to produce some really beautiful images so I thought I'd hope on and give it a try myself as I wasn't fully happy with all of the textures I'd adapted to my model. At first i just played around in black and white with my words and then I slowly moved into creating texture and using my three colours. These are what I produced:
